American Soldier

A. Most powerful image i saw in this slide-show would have to in Chapter 4 when two American soldiers are entering a building which has the appearance of just a building to run drills through, but showing their determination to prove they are serious about their position as being an American Soldier is all they have.

B. The most powerful pictures would have to be the First Assignment, learning the new tactics the average American Soldier should know. Hes finding out things the hard way when he leaned on his weapon while smoking a cigarette.

C. When photographers use pictures to tell a story its more thoughtful for the mind to create a story by themselves with the facial expression or the surroundings in the picture.

A. He seems laid back without ever being in a rush, doesn't look for trouble. Keeps to himself.

B. Its explains what position he is in with other people or area, gives the image to look while also giving you detail on what the photographer is trying to get you to see.

A. Diverse way to get the viewers attention on the video.

B. Videos explain everything than a photograph, giving the viewer audio and video of what the topic is over about.

C. Capturing one moment that all you need is photograph to explain the history of that specific time in history.

Negatives Evalution

1.
About 5 of my pictures came out how i expected to be, good quality and no glare.

2.
6 of em came out very dark and some pictures were completely out of focus. For the majority they were just dark.

3.
The one where i took a picture of someone and shot away from the light. Wont be any glare or any bright out of focus pixels in the picture.

4.
Many of my pictures i used Simplicity, Rule Of Thirds, Repetition, into most of them, that's what i would usually look for a picture that catches my attention often.

5.
Ive learned to add Depth into pictures, keep the persons attention into a certain position of the picture. Ive added what i usually look for into pictures in my black and white picture.

A. He insterted his voice in the slideshow/video

B. The way all the effects came together was really interesting made the video diverse. Adding the voice of the Vet really brought the power of the video extend more. Instead of just having to read the interview throughout the whole thing.

A. Probably the one where he is smoking the cigarette, gives it perfectly image for Marlboro. That even when entering the belly of the beast for our country, that our soldiers can use a smoke for their broke.

B. Usually the ones that have a certain situation going on to them, id rather see a soldier firing their weapon than them lounging around in their bunker for example.

C. The audio enhances everything in the video. So we wont have to imagine the mans voice. He sound depressed or relieved that their is people out there to listen to what he has to say.

D. They all combine and revolve around him coming back from Iraq, explaining that being a American Troop is not all about killing your enemy. Realizing your taking someone else's life hits you harder when you right at that moment right before you hit the trigger.

Photo Shoot Reflection

1. It was a little awkward having to get into some people, then the more pictures i took it was more and more easier and soon i got comfortable with it. Capturing some pictures were difficult because we were looking for some certain frame.

2. Focus, Simplicity, and the rule of thirds is what i really look at, i am very interested with pictures that have rule of thirds.

3. I used rule of thirds. It captures various things when using that technique.

4. Learn from a couple more skilled photographers. Try different techniques every time i take a picture to capture every aspect of the topic.

Commuters catch a ride at the local trains station on a early Monday morning morning.
No need for the hitchhikers thumb anymore, they hop on and go.

There has been a lot of thief's stealing bicycles lately downtown in the metro area, Which results to the people to be extra careful and lock their bikes with multiple amounts of locks to a rail.
