Composition 9/11

Cornelio Treminio

Simplicity- Clear up shot view of the twin towers, nothing else in the picture except the buildings and the clear sky. There nothing else to focus on but the buildings. nothing fancy but nothing dull.

The Rule of Thirds- The person and little kid keeling down giving their respect to the fallen people in 9/11. They're set in one side of the picture.

Lines- The lines going up the building dont make the picture, but they lead up the the situation going on. Notice people jumping out of windows.

Balance- The three men standing in the street are a good example of balance, making a geometric shape.

Framing- The smoke coming from the building removes the outside of the picture and clear view within the smoke.

Avoiding Mergers- the building are split from the sun, simple to realize they are the twin towers because its similarities in its height. Gaining more attention from the rest of the buildings.

First Shoot

This one was my least favorite because a couple things weren't right in the picture.
Its blurry in some spots. I got more of the classroom then the student. Learn from our mistakes.
Work in progress for us Photo Journalism students =).

I believe this is the best picture i took in my opinion. Came out clear and sharp.
The lighting in it was decent and she had a small smirk on her face.
Its not the best ever but the best so far.
